The controller of personal data processed through this website is Longquan Sihai Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (Chinese name: 龙泉思海电器有限公司). The controller is located in China at No. 92 Guangji Street, Jianchi Subdistrict, Longquan, Lishui, Zhejiang, China.
To request access, correction, deletion, or otherwise exercise rights relating to your personal data, contact sihai757@163.com. We may need to verify your identity to prevent unauthorised requests.
2. Information we collect
When you submit a product enquiry, the website processes the information you enter and limited technical information needed to complete the submission and protect the service.
- Required fields: name, company name, email address, and enquiry message or detailed requirements.
- Optional fields: telephone number, country or region, product or model of interest, application, estimated purchasing information or quantity, and cooperation type.
- System context: source-page URL, product identifier, submission time, current page language, and an anti-spam honeypot field.
- Security information: the server derives a short-lived hash from the IP address and browser User-Agent for rate limiting, and a separate short-lived hash from the validated email, enquiry text, and product information to suppress duplicate enquiries.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiry information only to respond to customer questions, support product selection and technical discussions, provide quotations, discuss samples, orders, and cooperation, conduct one-to-one business follow-up, and fulfil later contractual, order, after-sales, and dispute-resolution obligations.
Responding to an enquiry, quotation request, or cooperation request generally involves taking steps at your request before a possible contract. After a transaction is formed, necessary information is processed to perform the contract and meet applicable legal obligations. Honeypot checks, server-side validation, request-size limits, short-lived hash rate limiting, and duplicate suppression are used for the legitimate interest of securing the website and enquiry service against spam and abuse.
The website currently has no newsletter, automated marketing email, or bulk advertising function. Submitting an enquiry does not add your email address to a marketing list, and enquiry data is not provided to third parties for advertising. Normal one-to-one enquiry replies, quotations, and business follow-up are not bulk marketing.
4. How enquiries are handled and who receives data
After server-side validation by /api/inquiry, the enquiry is sent to an internal mailbox of Longquan Sihai Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. through the NetEase 163 Mail service provided at smtp.163.com. An automated acknowledgement is also sent to the email address you provide. Emails may contain the submitted business fields, page language, source page, and submission time.
Recipients or recipient categories may include Vercel as the website hosting and runtime provider, the NetEase 163 Mail service and relevant email service providers for email transmission, authorised sales and customer-service personnel within Longquan Sihai Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., and government, judicial, or regulatory authorities where required by law. Current anti-spam and rate-limiting controls run in the website's own code; no external CAPTCHA or anti-spam verification service is integrated.
The website code does not write enquiries to a database, and no CRM, marketing-list, advertising-platform, or personal-data sale function was found. Enquiry emails and email-service operational records may still be retained by the company mailbox and email service provider.
5. Logs, analytics, cookies, and local storage
No Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, advertising script, or other visitor-behaviour tracking script was found in the current code or page source. The application does not use cookies for visitor tracking, so no cookie consent banner is displayed at present.
When you actively select a language, the website stores sihai-language in browser localStorage to remember that preference; this is not an account identifier. Enquiry application logs contain limited information such as request ID, processing status, language, masked email, and error type, but not the enquiry message, telephone number, or full email address. Infrastructure providers such as Vercel may still process standard request and runtime logs.
6. Third-party links and content
Website images, system fonts, exhibition map data, the WeChat QR code, and location illustration are served as website assets. No third-party fonts, videos, iframes, or online map embeds were found. If you follow an external link such as WhatsApp or the Chinese ICP filing portal, that third party will process your visit under its own privacy policy.
7. Retention
Ordinary enquiries that do not result in a transaction are retained for 24 months from the last effective business contact. At the end of that period, enquiry records controlled by the company are deleted or anonymised unless continued retention is justified by a contract, potential dispute, legal obligation, or another lawful reason.
Where a transaction is formed, information relating to orders, contracts, payments, invoices, after-sales service, or disputes is retained for the period needed to perform the contract, provide after-sales support, and meet applicable legal requirements.
The rate-limiting hash derived from the IP address and User-Agent has a TTL of 15 minutes in the current runtime instance. The duplicate-enquiry hash has a TTL of 10 minutes. These hashes are held only in server runtime memory for rate limiting, security, and duplicate suppression and may be cleared earlier if the runtime instance restarts.
8. International transfers
The controller is located in China. When a person in the European Union or another location outside China submits an enquiry, the information must be transferred to China and processed by Longquan Sihai Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. so that the company can reply, provide a quotation, and handle the related business request.
The website also relies on Vercel hosting infrastructure and the NetEase 163 Mail service, which may process necessary information in different regions according to their infrastructure arrangements. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data. This policy does not claim that China has received an EU adequacy decision or that unverified standard contractual clauses, an EU representative, or another specific transfer mechanism is already in place.
9. Security
The website uses HTTPS, an anti-spam honeypot field, server-side field validation, request-size limits, short-lived IP and User-Agent hash rate limiting, duplicate-enquiry suppression, and masked logging to reduce risks of unauthorised access, spam, abuse, and disclosure. The rate-limit hash TTL is 15 minutes and the duplicate-enquiry hash TTL is 10 minutes.
No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed absolutely secure. We will continue to assess reasonable technical and organisational measures as the business, service providers, and risks evolve.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may contact sihai757@163.com to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to specific processing, or a copy of your data where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and will handle the request within the scope required by applicable law.
Deletion requests cannot always be completed immediately or unconditionally. Necessary information may continue to be retained where required for contracts, orders, tax or accounting obligations, after-sales service, dispute resolution, or other legal duties. You may withdraw consent only where a specific activity actually relies on consent; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority in your location.
11. Children
This website is intended for business customers and professional purchasers, not children. If we learn that a child's information was collected inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps to delete it after verification.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when data practices, service providers, or applicable requirements materially change and will show the revised date on this page. The privacy policy pages remain excluded from the Sitemap.
